Business Development Manager, South Africa

Role Overview / Purpose

Reporting to the Managing Director, this role focuses on marketing and selling the full range of casino and gaming products and services into existing and new business accounts in the defined territory, in the pursuit of sales revenues to targeted levels at a minimum performance level and to drive the business forward.

Requirements:

  • Relevant Tertiary qualifications
  • Experience and proven track record and results in the Casino or other similar business to business sales role
  • Good knowledge of commercial market place and ability to analyse trends to formulate strategies to win business

  • High level business to business negotiating and selling skills essential.
  • Able to offer professional advice on the complete product range
  • Able to independently manage time and sales activity remotely, to best drive and focus all sales activity in the territory
  • Excellent presentation, influencing, communication and negotiation skills
  • Develop effective working relationships with colleagues, business partners, suppliers and sub-contractors to improve operational performance
  • Hard working self-starter, lateral thinker, with the tenacity to succeed
  • Organised and able to meet tight deadlines
  • Flexible, able to prioritise effectively and manage many projects simultaneously
  • Ability to deal with financial information and good numeracy skills are essential
  • Ability to give operational customer training
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously or as part of a team
  • Flexible approach to working hours and location
  • Full Driving Licence and own transport essential
