Straight Up Texas

Introducing Straight Up Texas, a brand-new Poker derivative, which allows players to take on the house and features two exciting bets.

Overview

THE BASE GAME

Following the betting pattern of Texas Hold’em Poker, Straight Up Texas is a skills-based game, which allows players to take on the house and features two new side bets.

Straight Up Texas is similar to Texas Hold’em Poker, except that players compete against the house instead of each other. Players must beat the house, regardless of whether the house qualifies or not, providing players the opportunity to enhance their skills.

The winner is the player or dealer who can make their best five card hand from their two personal cards and the five community cards, the ‘Flop’, ‘Turn’ and ‘River’.

THE SIDE-BETS

Straight Up Texas features two thrilling side bets, the ‘Straight Up Bonus’ and the ‘Beat Bonus.’

The Straight Up Bonus requires the player to hold a ‘Straight’ or better and they are not required to beat the dealer. This therefore provides the player with the chance to secure a payout even if their hand fails to beat the dealer’s hand.

The Beat Bonus, requires the player to place a bet to try and beat the dealer. The player must beat the dealer with a ‘Straight’ or better to win. However, if the player beats the dealer with less than a ‘Straight, the bet will be a ‘Push.’

When all base game payouts are made, the dealer will pay all winning ‘Straight Up Bonus’ and ‘Beat Bonus’ bets.

A TWIST ON A CLASSIC

With varying payouts players will love the thrill of Straight Up Texas, making it the perfect game for any casino.
